Parandi

Parandi has always been a cherished part of Indian culture for women. Growing up, we saw our mothers, grandmothers, and generations before them beautifully adorning their hair with parandis. Over time, however, modern accessories like clutches and scrunchies gradually replaced this traditional craft.

Today, we are trying to bring this beautiful tradition back. The women from the tribal communities at our centre have a special connection with the parandi, and their love for it inspired this collection. Using vibrant colours, silk materials, and handcrafted tassels, each parandi is lovingly created by Sardori. Much of the artistry you see reflects her creativity and her vision of how she would like to adorn her own hair.
